Translational research is the major strength of the research teams (over twenty of them) at the research center of our Institute (CRIUCPQ). Our research group focusses on Pulmonary Hypertension.
We are looking for dynamic individuals either at the Master's degree level, the doctoral or pos-doctoral level and people interested by a research assistant position.
A working experience in molecular biology, biochemestry and vascular physiology is demanded. Our translational Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension Research Group is interested in identifying the physiopathological pathways associated with pulmonary arterial hypertension, and in the development of new therapies.
The applicant must have experience in human cellular culture, immunofluorescence, protein extraction, ARN, surgery, animal imagery (CT-scan and echocardiography). Virus manipulation, radioactivity and HPLC knowledge would be an asset.
The Pulmonary Hypertension Research Group is a young and dynamic team located in QuÃ©bec city, close to Laval University. The wages offered are in conformity with the Canadian granting agencies. The work environment is bilingual; a good knowledge of both French and English is preferable.
